Recent sightings

Hi everyone.

As you may have heard, Stacey has left Toro Yaka to pursue a conservation job. My name is Lance and I am Toro Yaka’s new guide.
A little about me: I am originally from New Zealand, with South African blood in me. I absolutely love nature and am always amazed by it. I also have a huge passion for photography, so hopefully will have plenty of photos for you all to enjoy in the future.

We have been having stunning lion sightings recently here at Toro Yaka. We have seen the Singwe pride every day for the past week and the guests have been treated to some amazing close up encounters.
After finishing a zebra kill three days ago the pride is due to make another kill, so our current guests may be lucky enough have the chance to see lions feeding shortly…an experience thy will never forget.

Following are some images taken showing the pride members.

This is a behaviour often seen in lions, where they will sleep touching each other in order to strengthen bonds in the pride.

Don't talk back to mum!
